I wonder how many weirdos are going to google this and come to my blog. Regardless, it's the TRUTH!
So last night I ended up at spin class. I told Lindsey I must have still been processing the crack in the kreme filled donut to think I could make a 5:30 am class. That is just absurd.
I haven't been to a spin class since I was pregnant and so certain muscles just haven't seen this type of workout for awhile. It was painful. I felt like I did the day after I got released from my mission and went to the gym. I was running on the treadmill and felt like I was dragging 400 pounds around. I felt like that last night.
The plus side is that I have been through this before and know with a little perseverance, okay A LOT, I can eventually make it to the other side.
Daniel just walked in the door with four hot chocolate chip cookies (oh man am I a huge sucker for these ) and I just said, "I cannot have those".
Now I have to go run them under water so I am not even tempted because I probably would dig them out of the trash!!

I love spin class! I had a similar experience after taking a long hiatus from the gym. I walked out of class at the risk of being called a wimp by the instructor, but I couldn't tolerate it any longer. That same instructor left the gym several months ago and I haven't taken a spin class since...he's the only one that motivated me...so sad, I miss him.
It won't be long before you notice the difference in your bum and legs. By the way...I have an arm rest (a gift from a thoughtful friend) you can borrow.
Yeah Gina, I totally miss Phil, and I was just a visitor!
I love spinning. I recently started going again at 5:45am. I'm insane! And my butt bone was bruised I swear! :) I wish we could spin together!
Wow...you went to spin class while you were pregnant? You are intense! I still remember you telling me about that crazy guy instructor from Modesto that you loved so much. He had some weird name...like "Big Daddy" or something like that. (?)
Yes, I DO have twenty pounds to lose! I gained more weight during this pregnancy than I did with the other two and sadly I have more weight to lose! I guess it just works out that way!!
I am almost ready to join you on the weight loss journey. I have been waiting to fully recover from the birth and sickness. We have been constantly sick on and off since the baby was born. I am impressed with how quickly you're ready to get back in shape after having your baby, you are going to be my inspiration...so keep blogging!

Now THAT is commitment! I don't know that I could wet cookies... unless they were in my mouth. I am going to have A LOT more than 18 lbs to lose, so, you are already my hero!
