18 Pounds to Lose
I thought I would start a weight loss blog with the hope of putting my goal into cyberspace possibly knowing that my friends will hold be accountable (cue you, my friends). My friend Tiffany started a fitness blog awhile ago and has just reached her goal! Go Tiff.I think my problem lies with sugar. I have a huge sugar addiction. I will let you into a deep, dark secret. I got addicted to these when I was pregnant. I am not one of those Krispy Kreme fanatics who wait in line for years to get a donut. No. I am loyal to Mr. T's. However, the people at Krispy Kreme must put crack this donut because it is truly addicting. My lowest low came when I went through the drive through and inhaled one then headed to Sports Authority to return some soccer socks. When I got back in the car I noticed that I had filling smudged on the side of my face! It was humiliating, yet so telling of my addiction to sweets.I don't plan on listing all of my obsessions. Suffice it to say, I have many if they come in the form of desserts.
I do intend to layout my plan:The classes that I want to go to at the gym are at 5:30 IN THE MORNING! E is pretty much all over the place, but if I get enough rest I can still possibly make it. Classes do much more for me than just working out because I get too bored. So I will be doing spin and pump classes. I have to do some form of exercise everyday but Sunday. If I miss the gym, I have to go on a walk/run or do a yoga video. Some form of exercise. I need to reduce my food intake and virtually eliminate sweets. On Tuesday I am taking the kids to pick out a toy if they will give up their Halloween candy stash because we all know who eats that candy anyway.
So to sum it up, my name is Amy and I have a problem. I need to lose 18 pounds. I weigh 148 pounds and have to get down to 130. I would love some encouragement and if you have a goal and would like to join, let's get together and I can add you to the sidebar.
Until later...

We have an idea for a goal, we just haven't written it down yet. If you want some recipes for healthy indulgent treats let me know. I have some! Good luck with it and we'll work on it together.
You completely inspire me!
Love Love Love!!!
Do you want my diabetic supplies? Then you can test your blood sugar and report your numbers everyday... that's what kept me off the sugar! :)
You can do it!!
Sign me up, I too am addicted to sugar and have over 20 lbs. to lose!!! Good luck I know we can do it!
Are you breastfeeding??
I wish I could join, but can't as of right now since I probably should be gaining weight for the next nine months or so!! Oh well!!
You've always looked great regardless of your weight...but kudos to you for your discipline. I've gained about 10 pounds in 3 months (I've heard married life will do that to you); I already needed to lose about 25 before I gained the 10. I know you're doing the math right now - heehee. You can do it and I'll be right behind you.
I think you look good the way you are! However, I know what it's like to try and get that extra weight off.
Don't deprive yourself of sweets; just monitor how much.......and substitute all the ingredients you can when baking that delicious- looking apple pie!
I know you can achieve your goal; you're one determined young lady, wife and mother, and dad and I are behind you 110%!!
Love to the grandkids.....
Good for you Amy!! I just lost 18 and only have about 10 to go before I am pre-baby (yes 4 of them) so it can be done! :)
